On this site you will be able to access information on drawing workshops, Art Foundations courses, and faculty bios. You will also be able to view artwork created by both students and faculty. Mission Statement

The purpose of the Art Foundations program is to provide students in the design departments with an opportunity to experience the fundamentals of art in a variety of media providing a solid foundation for further study. Students learn to define and identify the elements of art and the principles of design and to utilize them in their work. Students are exposed to historical works of art, critical thinking, and concept development. Art Foundations provides an essential understanding of the basis of all visual imagery that composes our visual language.
